The Crow was a left-field success with the tragic death of its star, and the studio rushed into the breach with this fast sequel. Helmed by The Cure's video director, it featured future-Punisher Thomas Jane, cameos by Iggy Pop and The Deftones, and launched the superhero film career of writer David Goyer (Blade, the Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel).
